Why We Do This

A part of every Otilia order goes toward giving back. Not as a campaign. Not as a headline. Just as something we do — quietly, without making it the point.

Vrindavan Gurukul — The Girls

We donated insulated water bottles — the kind that keep water cold through the day — along with daily essentials, to the girls studying at a Gurukul in Vrindavan. Young women building their lives through education. They wake up early, study hard, and ask for very little. A small thing, but enough to add a little ease to their day, and a little smile.

Gau Seva — In Care of the Sacred

At the Gurukul, the cows are not just animals — they are Gau Mata, revered, tended to, and cared for as sacred beings. The students feed them, water them, and sit with them as part of their daily practice. It is an act of devotion, not duty.

We help sustain this. Because the way a place treats what it considers sacred says everything about its character.

The Cows

At Otilia Candles, we believe in kindness—not just toward people but toward every living being. With every 20 candles sold, we contribute to cow shelters by providing food, ensuring that no cow goes hungry and every one of them leads a healthy life.


But our care doesn’t stop there. We step in whenever shelters need urgent help—be it medical aid, supplies, or resources. If a cow is unwell, we ensure it receives proper veterinary care, even arranging surgeries when needed.


Every flame you light spreads warmth beyond your home, touching lives that need it the most. Thank you for being a part of this journey of compassion.
